Re-Sleeving Kit

4 colours available at the moment ..... Kit comprises:
2 metre length of sleeve
2 plastic ties
2 plastic collars (4")


Instruction for fitting.
* Remove existing sleeving (canvas or plastic).
* Pull canvas sleeve onto chain leaving one clear link either end (cut to size).
* Use one plastic tie either end through the sleeve to hold it onto the last but one link.
* Cut waste end off plastic tie.
* Pull plastic collars onto each end of the chain leaving one link free.
* Use a hair dryer or heat gun to shrink and mould the collar onto the chain links.
Handy Hints:
1). If the chain is hung up from a hook or similar it will be easier to pull the sleeve upwards as the chains own weight will assist.
2). If the sleeve appears tight and difficult to pull onto the chain "slit" one end by 1" either side and it will pull on easier. (This should only apply if the chain is thicker than 12mm).
