	After my lay off with my trashed shoulder / neck this was the first trip out for me & Gray for quite some time ... So armed with the supplied directions we set off .....(we hooked up with the St Helens posse at the service station in Abergele, Matt, Pro Scouser Joe, Super Joe, Tommy...) Fantastic directions ! Straight to the car park ..... and on to the trails round the back of the castle ... Hey Ho ! we even went straight to the trig point .... the trail we climbed looks good ... could be worth the trip ..... Quiet tho' ... So, as we're chillin' after the climb, Gray & Super Joe bug out to check the other side of the trail, and return with cheesey grins and news of jumps and some 'North Shore ' bits ..... Cool ! Lets go check ....... As we launch and head off over the carefully crafted and cared for doubles jumps & berms, a few guys are heading up with bikes, hang on, we met at Nannerch, Excellent ! Greetings over, we discover these guys are the trail pixies (builders !) so they give us a full tour ..... Myriad trails snake thru' they heavy woods, taking in some nice drop off's, well manicured doubles, coupla ramps (one in a ladder stylee a la North Shore ...) Seems this is going to be a dual course :-) Nice one ! After enjoying the gaps, jumps, doubles et al for a while, the guys offer to take us down to the ski jump and jumps, cool, up for that, after a quick detour over the rock drop, we follow thenm down.......... WoW ! Jumps is right, its a full on doubles section out in the open, with a ski jump at the far end too ..... I baulked at one of 'em .. oh no .. thats a first ... trepidation .. better fix that next visit ! Gray nailed 'em with flair, Super Joe, however, is one stylish rider ... nailed all the air givers with one footers, x-up's et al ...... Ski jump is jumpable however you wish really ...... take massive leap, Super Joe-stylee and land half way down the slope, hardtail it or, like us fast and use the suspension ... you'll defo get some air time tho' however ya do it !!!! After some play time here, we head back up the trail to the doubles and north shore section, much fun had here, Gray and I were less concerned about the missing pieces than some others ! ( Or is that reckless ? ). Totally looking forward to the descent back toward the car, we head off behind the Trail Pixies, loadsa fun, they've even incorporated some 'wall' riding in it .... Unfortunately Gray bust yet another gear hanger (update on that is that the swing arm is cracked ...Another one bites the dust eh Gray ? )... so missed the bottom section ..... It's definitely worth a re-visit ...... I even tried the Giant ATX out ... a tad farthing-like for my shorter leg, but a top ride with the new Boxxers all the same ...... Thanks guys !
