No shortage of ineptitude to choose from.................

Well ........... where to start ? Climate & Environment ....Good to see the winfarms taking shape off the coast of the Wirral, I'm not exactly in the minority, but there are certainly enough detractors .... When I see the farms operational, I see that we are, finally, exploring some other energy production avenues that will not leave waste for our offspring to deal with ...... And 4x4's .... (last years, but valid !)Personal favourite this one .. yes, I have a 4x4, AND I pay 175 quid a year to tax it ... Why ? The whole sliding scale was set up as a scale of polluters, allegedly, but guesse what ? Mine's an LPG vehicle, as are a great many petrol driven ones ...and you know what ? It (& they ) are @ least 95% less than a baby petrol motor in most emissions emitted .. the 4x4 diesels are no worse than most diesel motors, which is to say terrible anyway !!! Alcohol ........In the ongoing war against excessive drinking, it has now been decided to label alcoholic drinks to indicate they contain units of alcohol and may make you drowsy.... No shit ???? This is right up there with taking on binge drinking by having pubs open 24/7 ... I understand moves are afoot to get all drinks labelled with a Caution : Wet liquid inside .... Blair .... Yippee ! He has gone .... oh ... we have Gordon Brown now .....CAnt recall anyone voting for him .... How's that work then ? Answers on a postcard to 10 Downing street .... And for balance, ask him where all the pensions have gone ..... on to ... SCotland .... Whilst we have a Scot's flavour going on .... Could anyone illuminate me as to HOW the SNP intends to fund the earmarked 10 million pounds to be invested in scottish universities ?? Likewise, they appear to be intending to give away free prescriptions AND getting a referendum on Europe ??? Sorry, whilst these things are good, we too would like them, in England, I ask again, HOW are they to be funded ? Have we not spent an inordinate amount of money on Holyrrod house already ? THAT came out of OUR TAX guys ... and the piss was seriously taken, spending 18 quid a square yard on turf ..... Once again, did anyone vote for the scot in the premier seat ? No .... Smoking ... Hey ! Brilliant ! Now it's safe to stand outside the hospital without fear of inhaling second hand smoke .... 'course, you could still get beaten or stabbed by a marauding piss head who's gone to get his head stiched after a drunken fracas .... or blown to bits by a moonlighting doctor from iran playing exploding Mercs in a car park near you...... Yeah ..... If we stopped lettin' every f****r in who could put an elastoplast on a graze we may have some security ... (see below) And while we're on a health kick .....Next on the list are the fatty's .... they are hoarding way too much of the available calories, and are fast becoming the biggest drain on the health service (remember that argument ?) .. Cause too much fuel to be used on public transport and take up far too much space in busy shopping areas ..... So lets get 'em trimmed down ... UPDATE ... Seems they're listening ! at least a bit anyway !! Now to get the fatburger ads off the TV ..... And while we're at it Moaning is becoming a national pasttime (hahahahahahahaha ! Really ??? ) A victim of the recent transformation of Yorkshire was heard to complain the council hadnt done enough to stop the flooding ......... I have sympathy for all involved, but blaming the council ?? Get a f***in' life ........ Here's Lewis .... Well ! after having a hard time of it last year, and some unfortunate decisions regarding the team, in hindsight, it would appear he was prevented from winning the Championship ... too marginal for my liking .... It seems this year is going to round off the same ..... Why is it HE has to do it the hard way ?? After the incident yesterday regarding Raikkenen @ Spa, it is clear there are rules applied to different teams in different ways ...... He won fair & square, he let the sulky Fin back in front AND crossed the rear of the fin to show he had after the chicane incident ... yet the stewards deemed it wrong ?? The Maclaren was all over it anyway, so wouldnt have had an issue passing anyway, besides, the fin had a wall interface anyway !!! Masa got off with a fine at the Euro, Raikkenen got nothing for running over a technician, yet Lewis was time penalised, despite satisfying the criteria, letting him re-pass. There is something rather wrong with this sport at the moment and unless it can clean its act up, I'm not sure we should invest in UK gp sites if our guy, no matter what colour he is, isnt going to be allowed to win ..... Sponsors, both large and small should now be thinking very carefully about HOW closely associated with this mentality they wish to be .... I know spectators are beginning to wonder .....

Lewis Hamilton	What a brilliant start to a season ... 8 races in and he hasnt been off the podium yet !! Wish I'd put that bet on .... He has driven with such maturity and control it is hard to believe he is only in his 20's .. Respect is due ...He's making Alonso look pretty ordinary .. not to mention the rest of the field ...
Rugby ....	Good effort guys !! I was one, of very few. it seems, who kept the faith, but in the end it wasnt enough. They battled well and definitely werent beaten down, I think, with a different referee, the result would have been different. I'm not certain we would have won, but it would have been different. In fairness, South Africa are worthy champions, having played brilliantly throughout the tournament, but I still would have prefered us to break the record !!!! Next time ... Well done lads, now, we've just gotta try and keep mr Ashton where he clearly belongs !
Lewis update ....	Welllllllll ... Now I'm glad I didnt put the bet on, but what a season he's had ! Led the championship 'till the end, best rookie season ever, shame him & Alonso tied, but Raikenen, despite the press, is a very worthy champion to have come from 26 points down & win by 1 point ..... It looked like someone had turned lewis' car off then back on again .. but I digress ;-) HOPEFULLY F1 will have it's act together next year ... once they've resolved the fuel scandal from yesterday .... sheeeeeeesh ... does it ever end ????
Casey Stoner	Speaking of super mature new kids on the block, Casey leads the MotoGP championship still, riding with an ease only generally produced with age and experience ... I firmly believe he would have won Assen too, had he had enough fuel to hold of the bouyant Rossi ... UPDATE .... Job done ! Congrats !!
Size Zero ...	We really are losing the plot, ban size 0 models 'cos it gives kids the wrong idea ?? Huh ?? But it's ok to advertise horror movies during the day, burgers from everywhere and some hideously e-rich confections between baby programs ? Someone has lost the impartiality required here ...... If we have to see lardy people to maintain political correctness, surely the converse appl;ies ? Apparently fat people feel bad seeing skinny models, arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, maybe they'll diet then ? I despair ........
